today our guide took us to a temple...
We got to see first hand what bowing down
to graven images looked like.
Oh how our hearts wept!

hundreds of people packed in & around this temple
praying & worshipping, the monks were also inside chanting.
the bridges here were beautiful
{as many are in Ch*na!}
each temple has a pond that the people
bring goldfish & turtles too & set them free.
{like a good deed}
another beautiful walkway & pagoda...
We left the temple & made our way to the
Hot Springs park where the beauty & the wonder
of HIS creations sooothed our hearts
& made us marvel at HIS grace,
mercy & love to mankind...
--for all the gods of the people are idols,
but the Lord made the heavens...

I am so glad you are able to blog while you are there. So fun to take this trip with you. I am just so excited for you that you are actually there and bringing this little guy home!
ReplyDeleteOh how our hearts break for what breaks His. Thank you for sharing for a reminder to us all to continue to pray fervently for those that need Him so badly!! May we not get too focused on our own "vain" things at times that we forget the hurting cries of needy hearts around us!!!
