Fuzhou day 2...{tuesday}

Since our appointments Monday we are here in Fuzhou
just waiting for our paperwork to be processed so we
can fly to Guangzhou & do even more paperwork.
Anyhoo these days are fairly slow...Our guide, Johnson
takes us out for a few hours every day & shows us around
Fuzhou. Today was cooler & rainy, but we still ventured
down to Min River & the parks along it.
Here is a Banyan tree- Fuzhou's city tree.
It has roots that dangle down from the branches & once they
touch the ground the take root & it starts a new trunk that
soons grows into the main one...

little a. snug as a bug & his daddy...
interestingly enough as we walked along
locals would come up & feel little a.
& just give us a talkin to in Mandarin
complete with the tongue cluckin!
{they all think that he isn't bundled up enough!:/}
They are not shy about talking to us or staring at us:)}

One of the bridges crossing the Min River.
As you can see Fuzhou is a fairly big city.
A city filled with HIS children but yet
scarcely a one know HIM...
{heartbreaking & a reason for prayer!}

{decorations from the festival}

& just because....
little a. after his bath :)...
--Give unto the Lord the glory due unto HIS name;
O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness...
Psalm 29:2
