a highlight!...{Fuzhou day 4}

The best part of our day today would

have to be meeting Isabel!

This dear gal used to be a guide for

many adoptive families in this province,

but she no longer acts as a guide but instead

advocates for the older orphans...

the children that are about to forever lose

their chance at having a "real" family!

{at age 14 here in Ch*na their chance is gone!}

Anyhoo..this dear gal, heard that we were here

{from a mutual acquaintance}

& went out of her way to come & spend a few hours with us!

It was such a reprieve!

{praising HIM!}

She answered my many "mother" questions &

just gave us lots of advice & affirmation on our parenting abilities!:)

{which believe it or not- we were doubting in some areas!:)}

She wanted to hold him so bad & the little scamp would

scoot up into my lap as fast as he could

{which made my heart happy & was exciting to see!}

that means we are actually getting somewhere attachment wise!}

today was our last full day here & as I sat here &
listened to little a. chatter w/ Isabel
{he actually would look at her, tell her things & answer her questions!}
my heart grew sad, although we are missing a & t
& longing for OUR home, seeing all of YOU & enjoy
some food that is actually good!...this is his last few days in a
somewhat familiar enviroment, w/ his people - sure they don't love him
like we do, but they speak his language & look familiar to him!
My heart hurts for him, one time more he is leaving all he knows!

Please join us in prayer for his little heart!

{we will be getting on a plane & flying to Guangzhou

about 6am IN. time on Fri morn.

 for the next steps in the adoption process!

Please pray that this plane ride is uneventful :)}
