So sorry my friends for the infrequent updates...
We are finding that not only is the Internet
service weak but Internet access is restricted
also...Then add my utter exhaustion on top
of it all..well this is what you get :)...
{I have been feeling very weak, thinking
it may be a combination of time change &
poor nutrition/dehydration} Anyhoo...
let me catch you up on the past few days...
Just when our cup was running dry, HE
filled it up!Praising HIM!By fri. eve. our spirits
were very low, in part due to the few issues
I mentioned above but also because of all
of the many differences in life here..
{I wont go into all of it here :)}
{Our 3 blessings :)}
We spent Sat. morn. with little a.
& then at we hired a driver to take
us to Beijing, to meet some dear friends...
Saturday eve. they so graciously fixed a traditional
Thanksgiving meal for us & a few more dear friends!
You can imagine how much my family ate :)...
T. kept exclaiming over & over
"man this chicken ;) & mashed potatoes are SO good!"
Then on Sunday we attended church with the group
& ate lunch at a traditional Chinese restaurant...
a & t were spoiled by all & enjoyed
every minute of it :)...
{"U. Ralph" patiently taught them how to eat
with chopsticks-A. caught on immediately &
Jordan taught us all some basic
Chinese words - which we didn't catch
on to immediately :)...}
We headed back to Shepherds Field about 5
with our cups overflowing & a part of our
hearts forever with our dear friends
in Beijing...
