little a's party {#1}

 Last evening we had a little party...
to celebrate little a. & his special day!
{he turned 3!}
I decided for the first time ever...
{well not ever- as we did the same thing for Miss Grace's 2nd b-day-
T. was just a week old..}
to just have a little party w/  the 5 of us...

our other children had a cake just like this for their 1st bdays
& I couldn't let little a. not be in on the tradition:)-as a note -
my aunt used this same cake pan & made me a panda
cake for my 1st b-day!

Miss Grace thought that it would look cute
to have him hold a #3 in pictures- so
she made one...love that girl!:)

unfortunately it didn't last long with him...
{here he is awestruck by his cake & candles!}

{& again...}
It was so fun to see it all through his eyes...
knowing that he has never had a party before...

never been told that this is YOUR day...
The special day to celebrate YOU & YOUR special, unique self!

little a. would not eat/drink cold things for awhile-
but he is slowly adjusting & I do think he likes ice cream ;)!

I tried to edit these pic.s down, actually I did,
but I still ended up with way to many for 1 post so...
{all to which I blame on little a.'s adorableness!:)}
